When I talk to my friends and mention that Western European authoritarianism is on the rise, especially those who consider themselves particularly enlightened, they shake their heads in disbelief. Authoritarianism? After all, we’re talking about countries that proudly proclaim themselves as having established democracies. And democracy equals freedom, not authoritarianism, right? Well – and I will keep repeating this – the left-liberal elite in Western Europe didn’t seize power just to relinquish it due to some election results! „It doesn’t matter who votes; what matters is who counts the votes,” said Joseph Stalin, whose ideological heirs are legion across Europe.
Thierry Breton, a former EU Commissioner from France, suggested that the election results in Germany might be annulled, just as recently happened in Romania. “Let’s stay calm and enforce our rules in Europe when there’s a risk of them being circumvented, and when they could, if not enforced, lead to interference. We did this in Romania, and of course, we’ll have to do the same, if necessary, in Germany,” Breton said. This is yet another statement by a representative of the Western European elite openly declaring that „every customer can have a car painted any color that he wants so long as it is black,” as Henry Ford, the founder of Ford Motor Company, famously remarked.
Wypowiedź byłego Komisarza UE Thierry Breton budzi obawy, że unieważniono wybory w Rumunii z pomocą ingernecji UE. Jego słowa sugerują, że UE jest gotowa powtórzyć ten scenariusz w innych krajach :

But hold on a moment… Let’s delve into what Thierry Breton actually said. What does “we did this in Romania” mean? Who did “this,” how was it done, and based on what regulations? Is there a document where some EU body officially appealed to Romania’s Constitutional Court to annul the first round of elections? Or was there some informal pressure on Romanian judges? If so, which judges, and who exerted such pressure? These are crucial questions, as we have the right to know whether a coordinated criminal group within the Western European elite (possibly acting covertly) is influencing election outcomes. Let me remind you that the fundamental pillar of democracy is the unshakable principle that citizens are the highest authority. Decisions in a democratic system, whether through elections or referenda, must reflect the will of the people. Sovereignty, therefore, means that the ruling power comes from the mandate granted by the citizens.
Perhaps Thierry Breton’s words were a linguistic slip, or perhaps there was a misunderstanding during the translation of his statement… but I have the impression that public discourse increasingly features the idea that democracy needs to be controlled. Of course, no one explicitly calls it control – on the contrary, it is framed as defending democracy. But who will decide whom to punch in the face in the name of self-defense? We don’t know. We can only assume it will be the left-liberal elite, which has as much to do with democracy as a fish has to do with riding a bicycle.
